  1. An Apple-A-Day • Work independently to develop a list of the characteristic and properties of your apple. • Your list should be as extensive as possible. • Be prepared to share your list with the class.

  2. An Apple-A-Day • What if anything did you discover about this apple or apples in general? • Add items from the class list to your list, as necessary.

  3. An Apple-A-Day • Examine the model of the apple and cross the items off your list that you can not determine using the model apple.

  4. An Apple-A-Day • Examine the picture of the apple, cross all characteristics / properties off your list that you could not ascertain from the picture.

  5. An Apple-A-Day • Look at the following, cross all characteristics / properties off the list that can not be determined from the following.

  7. An Apple-A-Day • Examine the list of remaining items. • Based on this list what, if anything, did you discover about this apple or apples in general? • What part of this activity made the biggest impact on your understanding / knowledge about apples?
