  2. Team Teach Protocol for Delivery • All Team Teach protocols are stated in order to ensure quality control and clarity of purpose. • A minimum of two members of staff need to be trained from an establishment if this is the first round of training for them. • One of the initial two members of staff needs to be in the SLT. • A commitment from the establishment needs to be made to complete the identified reporting forms and adopt an agreed policy. • If staff do not retrain within the required timeframe they will not be able to continue to use the physical interventions. • Participants must complete their own personal risk assessment in the form of the Team Teach Personal Health Awareness Check before any training commences. • Team Teach tutors cannot authorise staff to use physical interventions; that is a policy matter for the employer. • All participants must complete as a minimum the core skills and activities, including passing the quiz, in order to qualify for certification. • A shared understanding from course members that Team Teach is a holistic approach to behaviour; it is not a training package that teaches restraint.
