  • 1. Only cheer on winning shots
  • 2. Do not cheer on unforced errors
  • 3. Do not talk to the competitors while they are on the court
  • 4. Do not assist in keeping score, even if asked
  • Ask a coach if you are unsure

  • 1st 2 Weeks: 9:00-11:00 am and 2:00-4:00 pm

Beating the Heat
  • Drink a glass of water 30 min to 1 hour before match or practice
  • Replenish all lost fluids after practice
  • To help build muscle and for muscle recovery, eat protein (ex. meat, chocolate milk, …)

  • Begin Wednesday August 10 in the afternoon
  • Helps determine the lineup

  • Varsity plays first, then JV
  • Exhibition matches are possible for lower JV
  • All players stay until the last match is finished and courts are picked up

  • Match time = total concentration
  • Remember, we are representing our families, school, and city

  • A player letters if he:
    • Plays in a Varsity match during the season
    • Earns a letter determined by the coaches
