  4. BRETTON WOODS project Environmental Issues • Greater emphasis on climate change (clean technology transfer) • WB/IMF investment in clean energy • Private sector investment in biodiversity • Revisit failing projects such as the West Africa gas pipeline and carbon brokering

BRETTON WOODS project Social Development • Increase attention to social development in WB policy dialogue and lending • Mainstream social development into project level processes • External monitors to ensure WB commitment to social development are fulfilled for life of project • More effective research, capacity building, and partnerships
