  2. Subcommittee on Oil Well Cements (SC-10) Tuesday June 27, 2017: General Meeting • WG on Comparison of Atmospheric vs Pressurized Slurry Conditioning for Cements • Develop a technical report on recommended testing parameters when atmospheric conditioning is adequate and when HPHT conditioning is necessary. The product of the work should be a procedure to be incorporated into API RP10B-2 for use by field labs in evaluating Fluid Loss, Free Fluid & Rheology.

  3. Methodology

  4. Participating Labs

  5. Forward Plan winter meeting • Finish out data collection. • Review raw lab data. • Repeat test considering standard deviation of results(will wait on item one). • Evaluate a less stable slurry to evaluate FF(pending).

  6. Testing Matrix

  7. Progress 6-27-17 • Free fluid testing is 88% completed. • Fluid loss testing is 90% completed. • Rheology testing is 70% completed.

  8. Preliminary Results (FL)

  9. Preliminary Results (FF)

  10. Preliminary Results Rheology

  11. Preliminary Results Rheology

  12. Preliminary Results Rheology

  13. Forward Plan summer meeting • Finish out data collection. • Repeat test considering standard deviation of results(will wait on item one). • Evaluate a less stable slurry to evaluate FF. • Consider 120˚F for next temperature on FL testing.
