  4. Challenges of HIV PN • No national standard for HIV PN • Possible measures • Number of partners screened per case • Proportion of traceable partners screened • Verified +/ - reported? • Cut off 1, 3, 6, 9 or 12 months • Small numbers in individual clinics

  5. What makes a good standard? • Uses most reliable data available • Terms clearly understood – no room for interpretation • Captures best practice • Promotes best practice • Easy to complete – simple maths
