  1. What should you consider before buying a pool heater? If you are looking for a Propane pool heater, there are many points you need to take into consideration. 1. Electric or solar: When buying a pool heater, you should know that there are two types on the market: electric and what works with solar energy. The former has the main advantage that, due to their power, they can increase the temperature considerably, regardless of weather conditions. However, it is well known that they tend to make electricity service more expensive, which will immediately impact your family budget. Solar pool heaters depend inevitably on atmospheric conditions. So they are not usually as effective when it comes to increasing the temperature. Its main advantage is that they will not cause an increase in your electricity bill. 2. Connectivity: This is a very important factor to keep in mind when choosing a thermal Pentair saltwater pool heater. These devices work, receiving water from the pool, heat it and then return it to the pond. Therefore, it is essential to connect them with the pump or purifier of your pool. This connectivity must be easy and safe to achieve, so it is advisable to note that the heater adapts to the pool model. And that it brings the necessary hose or tubes to be coupled to the pumping system. The best heaters are those that come with 32mm diameter tubes and that bring adapters for other sizes. 3. Heating capacity: Before buying a Pentair pool heater, you should look very closely at its heating capacity, which is associated with the capacity of the pool and the pumping capacity of the treatment plant. If you have read this far, you will have noticed that all the heaters indicate the number of liters of water they can heat, and what is the minimum flow required for their proper functioning. If your pool is very large, there is the option to connect several units of solar heaters, to increase the temperature of the entire volume of water. 4. Heating speed: One aspect that you should take into account before buying a heater is the time it takes to increase the water temperature. If you want your pool to be ready in a few minutes, the best option is the solar heaters that are installed outside the pool. Its operation causes the water to enter the heater and in a few minutes, increase its temperature between 3 degree C and 5 degree C. Electric Pentair master temp heater, while more powerful and can reach a temperature of up to 40° C, usually take longer, up to 1 hour Which significantly increases the cost of electric service.
