  2. PLAN The Nigerians in Diaspora organization of America, District of Columbia chapter under the newly elected executives for the year 2013/2014 fiscal years (FY) intends to pursue a community focused, agenda driven (CFAD) model of administration. Our underline initiative generally focuses on membership and also largely on partnerships to build a stronger and lasting relationship with our direct communities for effective participation in the overall wellbeing of our people and the people of our host communities. We intend to kick off our youth wing which will be coordinated by the vice president and the financial secretary to start engaging our children and start grooming leaders who will assume the mantle after us, so as to make sure that sustainability and progress is enshrined permanently in our chapter. 6. Conclusion We intend to coordinate with our sister chapters in region two to carry out most of these events and others the may be interested in, we also hope to have the board and NIDOA in general to collaborate with us in if not all, most of these events so it becomes a NIDOA general event hosted in region 2 by the DC chapter. We reserve the right to eliminate or move any event or project due to any circumstance we deem appropriate that may hinder the smooth operation of the event or project. Our overall budget are projected and will all be sourced through fund raising, sponsorship and ticketing. We will aggressively pursue every dollar as every committee must meet their target at least six weeks to the event or have the event cancelled and rescheduled. We hope for the best and ask for everyone's cooperation in making all these a reality. Thanks President Vice President Secretary Financial Secretary Treasurer PRO
