  1. Project Core stakeholder report July 18, 2013

  2. Knowledge about the ccss These scores are based upon survey data in which a 4-point Likert-type scale was used to determine the participants’ general knowledge about the CCSS. On this survey, a response of 1 indicated that the participants were completely unfamiliar with certain aspects of the CCSS, whereas a response of 4 indicated that the participants were completely familiar with that aspect of the CCSS. There were not neutral values on this Likert-scale. There were eight questions on the survey, meaning that the minimum score for this scale is 8, indicating complete unfamiliarity with the CCSS; the maximum value is 32, indicating complete familiarity. Results from Preservice Cohort 1 indicate that Project CORE is having a positive impact upon these participants, with a greater increase in CCSS knowledge occurring during the first half of the year. Enough data has not yet been collected for the other participant groups. Note: Incomplete boxes indicate areas where data was unavailable as of July 18, 2013

  3. October conference session evaluations • Conference attendees were asked to complete evaluation forms following their participation in the break-out sessions of the October Conference. Evaluations were ranked on a 5-scale (1=poor; 5=excellent). The majority of the sessions were ranked between a 4 and a 5, indicating a rating of good to excellent; however, principal leadership was ranked to be slightly above average.

  4. Faculty workshops • The pretest/posttest for faculty was scored using 5 scale points regarding their knowledge of the CCSS (1= novice; 5= expert). Pretest results show an initial score of 2.75 initial, indicating a basic knowledge of the CCSS while the final score is 3.35 final, indicating competency. However, compared to other participant groups within the program, this group showed the least amount of growth. As this was the only group for which only one day of professional development was offered, perhaps the opportunity for on-going professional development would increase the likelihood of further growth.

  5. Preservice teachers Demographic Information Familiarity with the CCSS, CLSD Students, and CA Standards

  6. Inservice cohort 2 Self-reported demographics Teaching experience
