  5. I Noticed; I Still Noticeby Amy Gallagher Back then, I noticed… when you took time out of your busy day to help me when you put extra special treats in my lunch box when you made sure I always had pretty dresses hanging in my closet when you let me have extra brownies or cookies that came fresh out of the oven how you never forgot to tell me you loved me before I went to sleep how hard you worked to make sure we were taken care of how important it was that we were raised with strong morals how much you sacrificed to make our lives easier how you set aside your own interests, and kept us first on your priority list I still notice… when you answer your phone (even if you’re really busy) when you encourage me to pursue my goals when you listen to me vent about life when you continue to love me unconditionally how much you have made a positive influence on my life how lucky I am to have a mother like you
