Superior Global Protein Identification Using Yin-Yang Column Technology

The Yin-Yang column by Global Protein Identification Column Technology Inc. integrates anion and cation exchange chromatography for protein identification via multi-LC/MS/MS. Advantages include comprehensive peptide coverage, phosphopeptide enrichment, and simultaneous identification of phospho and non-phospho peptides. Theoretical pI distribution of non-phosphorylated peptides and complementary peptide identification of SCX and SAX are highlighted. Unique peptide and protein counts are detailed for SCX and SAX methods using mouse liver protein digests with low false positive rate. Over 1000 phosphopeptides are also successfully identified.
