  2. Victimology may be defined as:the scientific study of the extent, nature and causes of criminal victimization, its consequences for the persons involved and the reactions thereto by society, in particular the police and the criminal justice system as well as voluntary professional helpers. workers and

  11. The Wanton or Overly Sensual - those ruled by passion and thoughtlessly seeking pleasure. The Lonesome – similar to the acquisitive type of victim, by virtue of wanting companionship or affection.

  12. The Heartbroken – those emotionally disturbed by virtue of heartaches and pains. The Tormentor – the type of victim who asked for it,often from his own family or friends.
