  5. All About LSD! • It was first synthesized in 1938 from lysergic acid derivatives. • Even though the pharmaceutical company studied the drug, they did not realize its potency until 5 years later • They started to notice a problem when a researcher accidentally absorbed a small amount through his hand and felt the powerful effects. • That same researcher had an LSD trip a few days later, • This sparked great interest in the drug.

  7. How Can you take LSD • Most users swallow it with distilled water • To blotter LSD you can let the hit sit under your tongue until you start to trip. • The most common form of LSD is called "blotter acid" - sheets of paper soaked in LSD and perforated into 1/4-inch square • oral doses as small as 30 micrograms can produce effects that last 6 to 12 hours • LSD is initially produced in crystalline form. The pure crystal can be crushed to powder and mixed with binding agents to produce tablets known as "microdots" or thin squares of gelatin called "window panes”. • The solution may also be injected. The effect is identical with that of oral administration but sets in more rapidly • http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/lsd/lsd_faq.shtml#cautions
