O CALENDÁRIO DAS CONSTELAÇÕES • Para os povos indígenas, a posição das suas constelações no céu anuncia as estações do ano e, consequentemente, florações, frutificação, migrações e reproduções de peixes e animais. Este conhecimento é associado a trabalhos agrícolas, atividades de caça, coleta, festas, aparecimentos de doenças e procedimentos de proteção realizados pelos pajés. O manejo do mundo, a partir destas relações, é feito com seus calendários locais.
