After Effect Keyword Shortcuts have the power to save you a few seconds and those seconds can add up to minutes if not days saved on each one of your motion graphic projects.
1. Fit to Canvas • Keyboard Shortcut: Command+Option+F • Thisshortcut will auto-scale both the width and the height of your current composition. • This shortcut will take auto scale both the height and width of the composition.
2. Fit to Canvas Width • Keyboard Shortcut: Shift+Command+Option+H • This shortcut allows you to fit your layer to canvas width using this quick shortcut.
3. Replace • Keyboard Shortcut: Option + Drag • You have a pre-comp or asset in the timeline, but you have decided what you want to exchange that pre-comp or asset for something new. • Instead of deleting the object, you can use this simple trick to replace objects in the timeline.
4. Drag to Retime • Keyboard Shortcut: Selected Keyframes + Option • By holding down the option key and moving your keyframes, you can stretch your keyframes while proportionally preserving keyframe distance.
