  4. Gann Angle : Rules For Finding Support & Resistance • In Intraday trade 1X1 support will favor seller and 1X1 resistance breaks will support the buyers. This is applicable if the annual volatility is above 50%. • If the volatility is low or medium (lower than 50% ) then 1X4 should be taken as resistance and 4X1 should be taken as support. • If the sell entry price at 15° or at 45° is greater that buy entry price at 15° or 45° price point then it is considered as entry error. Here we need to change the calculation procedure from the high and low to mid point of high and low. • Third day of any change of trend should be watched for. Avoid trading in these days. • The smallest time interval in which you can identify the high and low is 5 minutes after market opening. The highest time interval you can consider is 1st 15 minutes after the opening bell. ( pre market period i.e. 9 to 9.15 need to be ignored) www.stocktradingfundamentals.com

  5. Gann Angle : Rules For Finding Support & Resistance • If the price unit of trading instrument is in 4 digit number then between buy entry and sell entry price at least 5 unit difference is required to take un biased decision or else it is considered as congestion, here again we need to change the calculation method from high and low to mid point. • If the price unit of trading instrument is in 3 digit number then between buy entry and sell entry price at least 3.5 unit difference is required to take un biased decision. Else need to change calculation to midpoint. • If the price unit of the trading instrument is a 2 digit or a single digit number then it must be converted to 4 digit number . Here the results need to be divided back by the multiples to reconvert it back to its original form. • If any trade hits stop loss don’t re-enter the trade again in same direction. www.stocktradingfundamentals.com

  6. Gann Angle : Finding Support & Resistance – Practical Example On 11th November 2010 SBI between 9.15 A.M. to 9.30 A.M. made high 3238.35 at 9.16 P.M. Low 3214.10 at 9:27 P.M www.stocktradingfundamentals.com As per calculation we are advised to Buy above Rs.3223.55 for a target of Rs.3268.66. As per calculation we are advised to Sell below Rs.3228.87 for a target of Rs.3184.04. Here since the @ 15 ° angle the sell price is more than buy price there is a entry error so we need to recalculate from midpoint.

  7. Gann Angle : Finding Support & Resistance – Practical Example www.stocktradingfundamentals.com As per calculation we are advised to Buy above Rs.3235.52 for a target of Rs.3280.71. As per calculation we are advised to Sell below Rs.3216.59 for a target of Rs.3171.84.
