  4. COLLEGE EXPENSES Most students can find ways to pay for their college education by combining • Grants • Scholarships • Work Study (average: $3,700 per year) • Parent contributions • Loans • Other sources

PHI THETA KAPPA?? • What is Phi Theta Kappa? • Phi Theta Kappa is the international honor society of two-year colleges and academic programs, particularly community colleges and junior colleges. • Also the purpose of Phi Theta Kappa shall be to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students.

  9. COST OF A BACHELOR’S DEGREE • In many cases, it is financially manageable • For students to attend 4-year colleges and universities • However, some students choose • 2 year colleges for financial reasons • 40% of undergraduate students attend • 2 year colleges
