About UMES • 4,000+ Enrolled Students • 195+ Faculty & Staff • The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) is a land-grant, historically black college founded in 1886 as the Delaware Conference Academy.   Since its beginning, the institution has had several name changes and governing bodies.  It was Maryland State College from 1948 until 1970, when it became one of the five campuses that formed the University of Maryland.  • In 1988, it became a member of the then eleven campus (now thirteen) University of Maryland System, now known as the University System of Maryland. Scorecard Technology:Microsoft Performance Point • Convergence of Scorecards, Dashboards and Analytic Reporting, delivered through Microsoft Sharepoint Portal technology • Replaces Microsoft Business Scorecard Manager, and will eventually replace ProClarity • Currently developed in Community Technology Preview (CTP) version. 1st Official release schedule for September 2007 including new (but still limited) “space aware” OLAP reporting components • Initial releases will continue to integrate ProClarity until ProClarity functionality is completely replaced within Performance Point All Rights ReservedÓ 2007
