  2. Què és la dialectologia? Disciplina o branca de la lingüística que s’ocupa de l’estudi dels dialectes. Què és un dialecte? Varietat geogràfica d’una llengua. Ha estat denominat com; “manera de parlar, conversa o col·loqui”. Finalment s’ha definit com a varietat d’una llengua.

  3. Dialectomètrica Forma de classificar els dialectes d’una manera objectiva. La classificació es realitza seguint uns criteris objectius mitjançant els trets i els fenòmens lingüístics.

  4. La dialectologia està en contacte amb: - L’etnografia (Etnolingüística) - La lingüística històrica(Dialectologia històrica) - La geografia (Geolingüística) - La sociologia (Sociolingüística)

  5. On es parla el català? • Catalunya (excepte la Vall d’Aran). • País Valencià (excepte comarques interiors). • Illes Balears i Pituïses. • Comarques aragoneses (la Ribagorça, la Llitera, el Baix Cinca i Matarranya). • França (el Rosselló). • Itàlia (l’Alguer).

  6. Classificació de la dialectologia catalana • M. Milà i Fontanals - 1861 → part occidental – meridional → part oriental - 1875 → català oriental → català occidental → català baleàric

  7. Antoni M. Alcover - 1902 → català oriental → català occidental → català de les Balears → català de la Ribera de l’Ebre i del Regne de València → català rossellonés - 1919 → català central → alguerés Canvia nom d’algunes varietats dialectals; valencià i pirinenc oriental.
