Introduction • Yokogawa is please to announce the impending release of Exaquantum/PIMS – Yokogawa’s Enterprise Historian. • We have been listening to our customers and are pleased to announce a number of significant new features which we feel will add value to an already rich and powerful Historian. (1) X-Y Plot control for display in Explorer Enables the relationship between key variables to be viewed and understood Drag and drop a tag onto the X and Y axes and define the time range of the trend • Example: "At a particular temperature, what is the efficiency of a heat exchanger?"   5. 14:21 TAGXXXX Plant Shutdown 14:21 Power Failure (2) Annotation of Trends Record & archive comments to user-defined points of a trend for specific alarms or events • Example: Annotate the precise point of a power failure and subsequent plant shutdown Exaquantum R2.50 Enhancements

(3) Tabular Trend View Instantly view actual tag values in tabular form for two selected trends Accessed by selecting 2 tags from the trend window and then launching the new comparison window. • Example: Immediately view the reactor pressure and temperature values Exaquantum R2.50 Enhancements

  7. (4) User Monitor Tool Reduce maintenance time and costs and improve user support Displays users who are logged onto an Exaquantum Server, showing the user name, client machine, client IP address, client version, logged in time and unlicensed clients Exaquantum R2.50 Enhancements

(5) Improved A&E conditions in Event Handler Control more accurately the Alarms & Events which are sent to 3rd party packages Complex condition including parenthesis Tags specified in condition • Example: If an alarm is received and the temperature is over 100C then send an SMS message to the plant supervisor Exaquantum R2.50 Enhancements

(6) Exaquantum/Explorer Use the tag quality information to decide on whether or not to create a trend Select Display Quality to display the icon indicator Right Click to open Bad or uncertain quality Tags can be quality identified via a switchable indicator in the Exaquantum Data Selector Exaquantum R2.50 Enhancements

  10. (7) Excel Add-In – Insert data as values Create an Exaquantum based Excel report that can be supplied to anybody with only Excel installed Exaquantum R2.50 Enhancements

Scheduled release date and availability • Exaquantum R2.50 release date is scheduled for 21st July 2009 • Pre-requisites for upgrade are • Exaquantum R1.10 • This upgrade is free of charge to customers with a current AMC • A quotation can be provided for your local Yokogawa supplier to upgrade your system Exaquantum R2.50 Enhancements
