  2. North Carolina Health and Wellness Trust Fund www.HealthWellNC.com The NC Health and Wellness Trust Fund website is the main portal where grantees can learn about all of our initiatives, the history of HWTF, recent activities, news and updates, contact information and funding opportunities.

  3. TRU Listserv www.googlegroups.com The TRU Listserv is an online communication tool where grantees, technical assistance providers and the HWTF can post questions and comments, obtain important dates and meeting information, upload files, search recent postings and showcase recent activities and events.

TRU Listserv – Becoming a Member • Log onto www.googlegroups.com • Click sign in and create an account now • Follow online instructions • Once you have created your account, search Google groups for the TRU listserv and request to become a member. • Your membership will be verified by HWTF staff. • Once verified you will be sent a confirmation email and will have full access to the site.

  5. TRU Listserv – Using the Site Posting to the TRU Listserv Once you are a member of the TRU listserv you can post questions, comments, updates, etc by sending an email to trulistserv@googlegroups.com or by logging on to your account, click discussions and new post.

Upload Files Click files Click upload new file Browse the file you want to upload Click Open The file will then be uploaded Discussions Sort discussions by first or most recent posting by clicking your preference at the top of the page.   7. TRU Toolkit www.TRUToolkit.com The TRU Toolkit is a website specifically designed for HWTF Teen Tobacco Use Prevention and Cessation grantees. This site is currently in the process of being updated but includes information regarding HWTF, Quitline and TRU logos, downloadable TRU and Quitline materials, TRU calendar and event postings, and media information. The Toolkit also serves as a link to the TRU Listserv, Tobacco Free Zone and HWTF websites.

  8. TRU Calendar The TRU calendar is a useful tool for grantees to list upcoming trainings, events, etc. Posting on the calendar allows grantees and TA providers to see what is going on in the area and to find opportunities for collaboration.

  9. Submit an Event Log on to the TRU Toolkit (www.trutoolkit.com) Click “Events,” “TRU Calendars,” and “Submit an Event” Fill in the appropriate information.   10. Tobacco Free Zone http://tfz.brandfuelstores.com The Tobacco Free Zone is an online store where teen and college grantees can go online and purchase pre-approved TRU, Tobacco Free College and Quitline incentives such as water bottles, t-shirts, pens, mouse pads and much more.

Tobacco Free Zone – Using the Store Ordering • Log onto the Tobacco Free Zone website. • Click sign in and enter your email address and password or create a new account. • Begin your order by selecting the items you wish to purchase. • Please make note of the minimum order quantity. Example: If you are ordering polo shirts or hoodies the minimum order of 36 can be accomplished by ordering 10 small, 10 medium and 16 large. If you do not need 36 you can take advantage of the bundling opportunities discuss later in this presentation. • Once you have completed your selections continue to the checkout section and follow the online instructions.

  12. Tobacco Free Zone – Using the Store Bundling Opportunity If you would like to purchase items from the Tobacco Free Zone but are unable to meet the minimum quantity you can continue to process your order. Your order will then be held until another grantee orders additional quantities to help reach your minimum order. When a grantee is in need of a bundling opportunity, an email will be sent to all grantees via the TRU listserv. Although orders will be considered bundled, orders will be shipped to the individual grantee and billed accordingly.
