  3. Southern Region CD Training Plan -- Targeted Trainings Time Line – Fall 2007-Summer/Fall 2008 Year 1 and 2 Planned Trainings – Community Development 101(Spring 2008) Business Retention and Expansion Entrepreneurship Public Deliberation Health Institute

  4. Southern Region CD Certification Plan Background – A CD certification program for Extension educators is being explored. Committee(s) Involved – CRD and other applicable program areas Time Line – Proposal to be submitted at 2008 PLN Meeting

  5. National Strategic Directions for CRED Background – CRED program leaders formed a network and steering committee (national council) to give a voice and visibility to community development work. Group co-chaired by Gae Broadwater, Kentucky State University. Committee(s) Involved – CRD Time Line – Finalized by Dec 2007
