  1. Cole Fenton, Taylor Beatty, Zack Miller, Hoang Dinh Abstract The objective of the design project was to create a bike with a connecting cart or box in order to sell a certain type of product in a location of our choice. We chose to implement a box on the back of a bicycle that would contain BanhTrangTron and be sold in the streets of Vietnam. The team decided that the material of the box would consist of clear plastic with metal around the edges and metal would also be used in order to attach the box to the bicycle. Instead of creating a new design for a bike, which would be difficult for the Vietnamese to obtain we decided that using an already existing bike design in Vietnam would work very well. The plastic that will be used is easily attainable in Vietnam and is a very common building material and means we would not have to import. The box that we are creating will be larger than normal, but we will be able to transport and sell more BanhTrangTron than usual. Therefore, these changes for the Vendor Bike are ideal solutions to the problems at hand Final Design Pugh Chart Conclusion Our group was faced with the problem of how to make a BanhTrangTron vending station more portable by attaching it to a bike, while making sure it still can hold the quantity needed for sale, be sturdy enough to last in the region, and be inexpensive enough to be worth buying for vendors. We successfully generated ideas after completing extensive research on the Vietnam area and how natives make a living through the vending process. Our Vendor Bike is a way for the vendor to make both an easy and substantial living. What makes our bike unique is the large amount of work space that the box provides the vendor along with the addition of shelves to hold the spices and an extra drawer for storage of more BanhTrangTron. We researched materials that were easily available to the Vietnamese vendors therefore if there ever happened to be a problem with the box, it could be quickly and easily fixed. Lastly, our Vendor Bike is very inexpensive which was the most important characteristic that the customers and vendors rated after taking our survey. Our Vendor Bike is one that will bring success to the vendors of Vietnam and happiness to the customers that come in contact with the Vendor Bike every day. The Vendor Box Bill of Materials Literature Review & Patent Search How it Works The Vendor Box is a box that is securely attached to the back rails of a bike. The box opens both from the top and from the side by hinges. The side opening is designed to open inwards as a set of doors, while the top opening simply moves as a whole. Beneath the side doors is a movable workspace that pulls partially out of the box. The rest of the box is secured. Cad Assembly Customer Needs
