As a 6th year FRC Team we have a lot of experience to draw from! If you need help, please contact one of our coaches and they’ll put you in touch with someone on our team who can answer your questions! This calendar is intended to help keep you aware of deadlines for your team: FRC Deadlines typically involve TIMS which is accessed thru FIRST’s website. We’ve added some suggested deadlines to show our team’s schedule. Revised October 2015.

Last day for Drive Base Options Second Event Registration Details… Kickoff refers to the opening of Build Season. You are able to register for an official Kickoff location to pick up your Kit of Parts. If a team representative is not attending a Kickoff Event you need to arrange shipping of the Kit of Parts. Shipping requires a FedEx account and cost around $1500 to ship to the UAE for the 2014 Season.

Have students prioritize robots’ functions, brainstorm strategy and robot design. Then watch videos from actual matches to see how strategies compared. The exemption request is submitted online and due sometime prior to Kickoff. Team Essays are submitted via TIMS in the Team Profile section. This information about your team is provided to Judges at the Regional.

The Rules Manual is critical to download, read and master these rules. Check frequently for Updates during the Season! Think of how and where you will want to post these requirements. Inspection Checklist is available thru www.usfirst.org and shows what your Robot Inspectors will be filling out at the Regional. It’s a great final check to evaluate your Robot for rule compliance. .

Thank You Cards are a great thing to send out after the Season is done. Keep a running list on this page of sponsors, parents, school administration and anyone else who helped facilitate the Season.
