  1. ASTRAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY & RESEARCH , INDORE MAJOR PROJECT PRESENTATION VOXYL (Voice Controled Player) Guided by :- Nilofar Khan HOD (I.T.) Presented by :- Yuvam Jain ( IT ) Lokesh sharma ( IT )

  2. AGENDA - • Introduction . • Problem Definition . • Feasibility Study . • Design . • Language . • Requirements . • Future Scope .

  3. OPEN SOURCE PROJECT • VOXYL is an open source project . • It is under the developing category . • Sourceforge is the intermediate of the project . • voxyl.sourceforge.net , is the open link for the development . • It will gain the new ideas across the world to develop the new • Javax. Speeh engines .

  4. PROBLEM DEFINITION • The open source voice control player . • The disabled people face challenges to use the audio player . • Hold back by some keyboarding / mouse problems . • The overall efficiency of the speech recognition through Inverse Fourier Transform is not more than 50 % .

  5. TECHNICAL FEASIBILITY The technical requirement of the project is not so worthy . The required software is Java Virtual Machine . The required hardware is 16-64 Hz voice input micro headset .

  6. ECONOMICAL FEASIBILITY The cost benefit analysis . The overall economical strength of the VOXYL is quite beneficial for the overall development of the project . The estimated cost of the project is : $ 15 . ( The 5 K lines of code approx. )

  7. DESIGN • The overall architecture of the system is based upon the HMM . • Hidden Markov Model provides the better accuracy for the automatic • Speech recognition . • The fast Fourier transform increases the speed and accuracy of the • System . • The Java Specified Grammar Format ( JSGF ) based grammar commands . • The grammar can expand according to the need of system .

  11. STATE FLOW DIAGRAM

  12. LANGUAGE • JAVA • SUN java provides the javax.speech packages for the better speech API . • JAVA is a platform independent language . • JAVA encourage the third party involvement in the speech API • development . • JAVA grammar is easy to construct . • In JAVA , total accuracy of the speech recognition is 68 %. And 55 % in • Other language .

  13. REQUIREMENTS Software requirement : 32 bit Edition . Windows 2000 or higher version . JDK 1.6 Java File System ( .txt ) Hardware requirement : 256MB of RAM . 50 MB of free Hard Disk Space . Microphone 10 mV/Pa . 16 Hz .

  14. FUTURE SCOPE • The better controlling the all functions of the player . • It also extends to provide the user voice interface , to control • Music analysis activities . • VOXYL can be used to control the audio / video visual effects .

  15. Team Members 1. Yuvam Jain ( 0831IT071060 ) . 2. Lokesh Sharma ( 0831IT071029 ) Responsibilities 1.Maintain the Documents and the Basic Structure of the program and classes . 2. Develop the major API and the player interface through the language .
