  3. A Look into H & K Case 12 • H & K is a global public relations firm based out of New York. • They have 1,900 employees in 68 offices over 32 countries. • H & K needed a easy, reliable & fast way to transmit information to employees & clients all over the world.

  4. The five main direction of flow goes as follows. • Project Team • Other Employees Upper & Lower • Clients • External Companies • Training, Organization & Storage for a later date.

  5. Problems with old system • No way to keep everyone in the loop. • Hard for people to use, no training. • extranet hk.com • Slow speeds & different technology. • “Beenz” Paying people to use the system.

  6. What is KMS or Knowledge Management System • Simply put, it is a way to handle information. • Or maybe a better & even better way of handling whatever it is. • This can be anything form people to a product.

  10. My Ending Thoughts • H & K is just like so many company trying to handle everything themselves instead of staying with what they do the best. • Start the ideal, use the ideal, see the ideal to the end. • Keep it simple.
