  3. Attend Monthly Meetings Online! RWHRMA is taking its monthly meeting content to the internet this year, as up to two monthly meetings will be available via live, online streaming. This pilot effort is a direct result of member feedback. RWHRMA has heard from many of you that either distance from the monthly meeting site or an inability to get away from the office at midday have kept you from attending programs and gathering all-important CE credits. Please keep an eye on www.rwhrma.org, and look for further news on this topic at future meetings. Once RWHRMA has determined the best conduit for web-based broadcasting, we will make an announcement and open up registration for this new, distance-learning option.

  4. Wake Tech Volunteers Needed – Career Fair Prep Event March 7th, 11:00a.m.-1:00p.m. Volunteers are needed to provide guidance on how students should behave when speaking to employers. There will be mock booths set up for volunteers to guide students on how to approach an employer, what questions to ask, how to prepare for an interview, how to present themselves, etc. Volunteers would not need to prepare a formal lesson, as the format will be an informal, drop-in setting with sharing of suggestions and modeling of appropriate behaviors.  Students will be floating between four different stations, all geared toward career fair prep.
