  1. COOKING CHOCOLATE COVERED DATES IS SO EASY NOW! Read more to find out how? You literally can't have only one of these; chocolate-covered dates. We certainly tried but theyre very easy to only enter your mouth. Theyre sweet and an excellent thanks to curbing those sugar cravings. Can I use pitted dates? Highly encouraged if you'll find them, otherwise, youll be pitting them yourself! We certainly tried but theyre very easy to only enter your mouth. Theyre a one-biter, thats needless to say, and the flavors: sweet, caramel from the date, nutty from the spread, and chocolate and salty from the outside. Can I use other nut butter? Yes! I used spread but any natural butter is great. Cashew, almond, pecan, etc. Do I even have to use natural nut butter? Its preferred because its easier to figure with and it wont get super solid within the fridge. Can I use crunchy nut butter? Yes, you'll but just confirm theyre natural. Do I want to use coconut oil? Its highly recommended because the copra oil helps the chocolate harden and it also gives it that nice shiny gloss! If chocolate burns, you can start over. If your chocolate is seized, its sort of a paste, then, Unfortunately, youll need to start over. If the spread keeps oozing out of the date. Youre putting an excessive amount of it into it. The spread is mixed with the chocolate mixture. Its not set enough; pop it within the fridge for a touch longer. Do I even have to refrigerate overnight? No, you dont, but the chocolate gets firmer and its easier to handle/eat without it getting everywhere your fingers. It wont melt as fast! I would say you'll keep them in a closed container for up to 10 days. Can I freeze them? No. What other toppings am I able to place on these? Shredded coconut, chocolate shavings, whatever you think that would be good on top of these! Sea salt is usually my favorite.
