  2. Big Idea • You must be able to read a rough draft and make the following revisions: • Decide how to best combine simple sentences • Decide how to best reword confusing sentences • Decide which sentences should be deleted www.elatestprep.com

  3. Combining Sentences • When asked to combine two sentences into one sentence, the newly formed sentence must be: • Clear not confusing or awkward • Unified not fragmented or run-on; the new sentence reads like one sentence. • Simple no repeated phrases or unnecessary words. www.elatestprep.com
