  1. Welfare Measures • Incentives for promoting small family norms • Concessions to employees for undergoing sterilization operation: • (a) A special increment in the form of “Family Planning Allowance”. • (b) Rebate of ½% in the interest on House Building Advance

Immediate relief to the family of an employee who dies while in service • Immediate monetary relief of three months pay or Rs. 8,000/- whichever is less • No formal application from the bereaved family is necessary • Contributory Provident Fund Account, if the deceased was a subscriber to the CPF

  3. Group Insurance Scheme, 1980 • The Scheme is compulsory to all the Central Government employees • Insurance and Saving Funds • Promotion during the year • Recovery of subscription for a month • Interest on arrears of subscription
