Materials Abstracts • Abstract rejections were based on reviewer scoring system • Strongly recommend – 5 pnts • Recommend – 4 pnts • Average – 3 pnts • Revise – 2 pnts • Reject – 1 pnt • Strongly reject/wrong subject – 0 pnts • Borderline abstracts (close to reviewer average score of 2.6) were judged based on • Completeness (length, content) • Reviewer comments (3-4 reviews each) • Double- and triple-booking of presentations • Content compatibility • Author’s history and reputation
