  2. What is a mosaic? Mosaic is the art of creating images and drawings by assembling small pieces of colored glass, stone or other material.

  3. Where is it used? Mosaics could be used in many different places. It could be used for interior or exterior decorating, could be used in portraits, buildings, religious designs, and more. Artists sometimes take loose pieces of mosaic to shape and play around with them.

  4. History of mosaics One of the first mosaics Even though there are many types of mosaics, they are descended from a Turkish culture. The earliest known examples of mosaics were made with different materials and were found in a temple in ancient Mesopotamia.
