  1. Electrical InterfacesPower budgetReliability Albert Naber SRON Utrecht A.P. Naber@sron.nl Consortium meeting, Zϋrich

  2. Electrical interfaces All electrical interfaces are defined • Last modification was on the LCU – LSU interface Lay-out of the warm S/C and instrument harnesses are in progress (Nexans). Consortium meeting, Zϋrich 17 September 2003

  3. Power budgets The power budgets for the primary mode are specified in the ‘HIFI power budget’ document, which was signed at the last consortium meeting. For the total nominal power we are at the allocated power figure of 315W (max. average thermal load). Conclusion: The margin is negative. Consortium meeting, Zϋrich 17 September 2003

  4. Failure Mode Effect and Criticality Analysis Response on requests to perform a FMECA was received for the ICU, LCU and FPU. Missing FMECA’s should be provided to close the sub-system CDR’s. FMECA for the ICU, LO and FP are in progress. Assistance from all sub-system teams is necessary to complete the analysis for the HIFI CDR. Consortium meeting, Zϋrich 17 September 2003

  5. Part Stress Analysis PSA from all sub-system teams has been performed or is in progress. PSA’s have to be completed to close the sub-system CDR’s and for the HIFI-CDR. Consortium meeting, Zϋrich 17 September 2003

  6. Worst Case Analysis No sub-system team has performed a proper WCA on the primary power interface. WCA’s have to be provided to close the sub-system CDR’s and for the HIFI-CDR. The minimum requested analysis is for: • Over and under voltage protection • Plug-in and inrush current Consortium meeting, Zϋrich 17 September 2003
