  2. Interactive Products Interactive products are found in may different areas. You will find them on: They provide a means for the user to engage with content that is both interesting and entertaining at the same time. • websites • as presentations • in shopping centres • on mobile phones • in e-learning.

  3. User Needs You will learn how to use software to meet the needs of a client brief that could be in the field of: This unit will focus on providing an interactive product based on the needs of a client. • gaming • education • advertising • website creation • mobile app development.

  4. Designing a Product Getting the design right will determine how well the final product will meet the brief. Templates are often created to make sure the house style is reflected throughout the finished product. Developers will often use storyboards, mood boards, structure diagrams and mind maps.

  5. Websites Many modern websites use interactivity to provide interest and keep their visitors coming back. Multimedia photo galleries, slideshows, animated adverts, mini-games, roll overs and hotspots all help to keep the website active and alive.

  6. These can be embedded into a website, presented to an audience or left to run on a console for the customer to browse at their leisure. Presentations Modern software allows the user to create interactive presentations quickly and easily. Interaction prevents the user losing interest and helps to avoid them switching off.

  7. eLearning Many businesses use eLearning to skill up their employees. They can even print their own certificates! Animations, quizzes, games and electronic submission allows the user to learn new subjects at home in their own time. eLearning uses interactive products to teach a wide variety of subjects using a computer, tablet or mobile phone.

  8. Games Manga High, MyMaths, IamLearning and many primary school websites use games to help their visitors learn through play. Using games as part of an interactive website or eLearning module can add interest, excitement and allows for instant feedback.

How to test the product for accuracy and revise it. How to create navigation and know about house style. How to plan an interactive product.
