  2. What is television • Television (TV) is the most widely used telecommunication medium for transmitting and receiving moving images that are either monochromatic. • Television" may also refer specifically to a television set, television programming or television transmission.

Philo Farnsworth • Philo Taylor Farnsworth (August 19, 1906 – March 11, 1971) was an American inventor and television pioneer. • Farnsworth was born on August 19, 1906 to Lewis Edwin Farnsworth and Serena Amanda Bastian, a Mormon couple then living in a log cabin built by Lewis's father in a place called Indian Creek near Beaver, Utah.

  4. Television • The invention of the Brewster Stereoscope by the Scottish scientist Sir David Brewster in 1849 provided a template for all later stereoscopes. This in turn stimulated the mass production of stereo photography which flourished alongside mono-photography. Stereo photography peaked around the turn of the 20th century and went out of fashion as movies increased in popularity.
