  2. Affable • easy to approach and to talk to; friendly; warmly polite: Example: He is an affable and courteous gentleman.

  3. Akimbo • arms akimbo , “with arms akimbo”. Standing with hands on hips and elbows projecting outwards.

  4. Debacle • A complete collapse or failure. • A general breakup; sudden downfall: The revolution ended in a debacle.

  5. Futile • Useless; not successful. Example: Attempting to force-feed the sick horse was futile.

  6. Keen • Extremely sensitive or responsive. Example: having keen eyes or keen ears. • Sharp, clever.

  7. Nostalgia • A sentimental yearning to return to some past event. • Example: A wave of nostalgia swept over me when I saw my childhood home.

  8. Tangible • Capable of being touched • Material/real (not imaginary)

  9. Ubiquitous • Existing or being everywhere, at the same time; omnipresent. Example: ubiquitous fog; ubiquitous little ants.

  10. Zealous • Devoted, diligent • Enthusiastic, eager
