  4. Purpose of AZ Perspectives • Developmental • Information from multiple perspectives • Identification of strengths • Recognition of development opportunities • Preparation of personal development plan • Measure development progress • Build critical capabilities

  5. AZ Perspectives Not Used to: • Determine monetary rewards • Assess candidates for succession or selection processes • Incorporate into the performance appraisal process

  6. AZ Perspectives-Sales Manager • Thirteen (13) Categories • 72 items • Two open-ended responses

  7. Minimum of 3 required for reporting Rater Options • Self • Manager • Deployed manager • Direct reports • Functional peers • Others

  8. Ground Rules • AZ Perspectives report is given to the individual, and his/her manager does not receive a copy. • AZ Perspectives report only given during participation in a facilitated session. • Expect individual to share “findings” with all who provided feedback. • Individual is required to review “findings” and development plan with his/her manager. • Follow-up mini-survey after six months optional.
