  1. States of Matter Interactive Activities • Today you will be working with a partner to complete 5 interactive simulations on the states of matter. • Activity 1 • Click the first URL. Work through adding and subtracting energy. Open pages and create a document with both names, date and block. • After working through the first activity describe in a paragraph what happens to the particles in the matter as energy is added or removes.

  2. Activity 2 • Click on the second URL. • Go through Water, Carbon dioxide and hydrogen changing all 6 pressures and all 5 degrees CELSIUS. • Write a paragraph summary using the info provided at the bottom of the page during the interaction to assist you. The summary must be in YOUR OWN WORDS!

  3. Activity 3 • Click on the 3rd url. • Read through the material and copy the chart from the bottom of the page on your own paper.

  4. Activity 4 • Click on the 4th url. • Go through the Learn activity • Then take the quiz. Write down your score. • Then go through the review.

  5. Activity 5 • Click on the 5thurl. • Log in to icurio same as you do in MOODLE • In the search box type in states of matter • Click on the video states of matter • After viewing the video take the quiz and screen shot your result. • Paste the screen shot onto your pages document.

  6. Completing and submitting • Check to see that you have done all 5 activities. • Do a spelling and grammar check. • Save your document as one person in the groups first initial last name SOM.
