Security • Application Level Security • Access to the system using biometrics authentication • Password protected user accounts • Password for every dial-up connection for the dealers and PUC Centers • Multi-level transaction authorizations • Server Security • Every application of the Transport Department is hosted on the NIC Server located at the Storage Area Network(SAN) Centre. • Network Security • All applications use GOANET (2 Mbps leased line based Intranet) which is highly secured with Firewalls.

Conclusion • 100 % Computerized Services of Licensing, Registration across the state • 100 % Computerization of Departmental Functions of Cash transactions, STA and RTA functions • Excellent infrastructure in place for all computerized operations • All RTOs connected via 2 Mbps Lease Line • All PUC centers, Dealers and Check-posts connected via dial-up • Special Public facilities in the form of Dealer Level Registration, TSK and vehicle info website www.goatransport.com • Improvisations proposed to make e-services more easier and convenient
