  3. Optical illusions • Optical illusionsare cool images perceived in a manner that differs from objective reality. What the human eye sees is interpreted by the brain in a way that contradicts physical measurement of the source image.

  4. Lesson • There is always something more to learn about someone or something. • Things are not always what just meets the eye.

  5. First impressions • When you first met me, what was your “first impression”? • Did you think I was dressed funny, spoke funny, nice, happy, etc? • Now that you know me a little better, what do you think of me now? • What do you think of the United States?
