  2. Step One: Set up Rod which will pass through Mickey and Stand to leave Mickey hanging freely Clamp Ouch. Weight hangs straight down Stand Stab small hole through Mickey’s head

  3. Step Two: Hang the Mouse Place rod through Mickey and Stand. When it hangs freely the mass of Mickey will be equal on both sides of the line. Draw on that line. Equal Mass Equal Mass

  4. Step Three: Make new hole (Stab the mouse again) Ouch again.

  5. Step Four: Hang the Mouse again Place rod through Mickey and Stand again. When it hangs freely the mass of Mickey will be equal on both sides of the line again. Draw on the new line. Equal Mass Equal Mass

  6. Step Five: Do it again to check the result Equal Mass Equal Mass ...

  7. Where the lines cross is the... Centre of Mass

  8. And that’s how you find the centre of mass!
