God’s Revelation in the new Testament To describe what God is like as revealed through Jesus. (L3) To explain how Jesus shows us who God wants us to be. (L4) To consider how you far you follow Jesus’ example (L5) • Why are words and images not enough to describe God? • 1. Think of one of the images of God you researched last lesson. Explain why that image on its own isn’t enough to explain what God is like. • maybe it just shows one aspect of God. What other aspects is it missing? • maybe there are ways that God is NOT like that image • 2. Explain why God alive as a human being (as Jesus) gives you a better idea of what God is like.
