  12. Fiscal Year 2015 MDCH and Legislature awarded 1.75 million General Funds to Lead Safe Home Program. This funding will have a significant impact on providing an additional 115 lead safe homes to families across the state!

  19. Training and Certification • Numbers are decreasing • On-line certification process for new applicants within the foreseeable future • Considering pushing back certification deadline by one month in 2015 or 2016

  20. Enforcement/ Compliance Environmental Protection Agency is closely auditing our process and citations • More written clarification in our files • Additional justification for reducing or dropping citations • Referrals to EPA on some cases

Asthma Intervention in Multifamily Housing HUD Grant • Lansing and Flint Public- Assisted Multifamily Housing • Provided in home asthma case mgt. and healthy homes interventions ( MATCH + HH Intervention model) • Completed 109 units with follow-up. • Community Level = smoke free + IPM policies • Additional Units benefited with policies and work order process. • Evaluation and findings

  22. Kresge Foundation Evaluation • Research Project to Evaluate HHU II data • Cost Benefit Analysis • 250 units with 40 in evaluation • Control of 80 units to increase statistical power • Self Reported and Medicaid Data
