  9. STEPS OF REVIEW • Initial draft – status on next slide • Review in subsystem communities and acceptance • Reading for overall consistency of document • Designated Readers from CMS for some or all of the document • Broad release in CMS • Acceptance by CMS

Status of Chapters and Appendices • Subsystem chapters – all submitted and much back-and-forth with subsystem authors. • Muon - ready for internal review in community POSTED • Hcal HB/HE - almost ready for internal review • Hcal forward – almost ready for internal review POST TODAY OR TOMORRW • Pixels – almost ready for internal review POST TOMORROW OR SATURDAY • Trigger/DAQ – ready for internal review of community TRIGGER POSTED, DAQ HAS SOME MISSING FIGURES (SHOULD RESOLVE TODAY) • BRM/lumi – in final stages. Is being presented to full community and Technical Coordination as they go • Infrastructure – initial draft available, STATUS? • Appendices • High Performance Spectrometer (a version on FP420) – almost ready for internal review WILL READ AND POST TOMORROW • MPGD – (Micro Pattern Gas Detector (a GEM) eta coverage of 1.6-2.1 for muon redundant coverage. Alternative to RPCs) • Phase 2 – very little work done • ECAL – new section, just added • IFP ???? • Other chapters • Introduction – material exists. Needs input from July 26 schedule which we now have – will work on this weekend with a draft by Monday for initial circulation in this group • Physics case – much work to be done (more below) • Cost and Schedule and Organization – basic input exists - priority for next week and following week
