  2. Introduction: AmSafe Commercial Products AmSafe Commercial Products is a manufacturer of restraint systems, primarily in the specialty vehicle and child safety markets. AmSafe Commercial Products has manufacturing locations in the United States, the United Kingdom, and China.

  3. Introduction: Phill Norrey Phill has been directly involved with the implementationt of ERP systems since 1984. He has been implementing QAD since 1990. He joined Amsafe in January 2010, where he assumed responsibility of the functional side of QAD. His roles include functional support, process improvement, training and system improvements

  10. III. Locations Zero Quantity. Auto delete using Perm Loc = NO Group Delete using 3.23 Tag Count or Allocations can stop deletion of locations

  11. IV. Picking Logic Selection only allows the FIRST control. Rest follow in Order. 1-2-3-4, 2-1-3-4, 3-1-2-4, 4-1-2-3 Then within this logic either Ascending or Decending.

  12. V. Allocations What is an ALLOCATION ? General – I need to reserve some. Detailed – I need to reserve a specific lot and/or location Picked – Paperwork has been printed

  13. V. Allocations Work Orders – Allocation Usually made when Released E = Exploded, No allocations A = Exploded and general allocations R = Exploded and Detail allocated

  14. V. Allocations Sales Orders – depends on setting in SO Control File. Can also be made using 7.1.6, 7.1.7 or 7.9.1
