Welcome to Science (10/23) • Please have a seat and take out the following. • Your Spectroscope (on the demo table) • Your Planner • A set of Roy G Biv Pencils • Today’s Objective: Pass back and go over the quiz and then use a Spectroscope to see the spectra of several different light sources. • Due Dates: Examining Spectra Lab due Tues. Oct. 28th

  2. Order of Activities: • Complete the “Somewhere Over the . . . CD?” Formative Assessment and turn it in up front. • Finish your Color, Wavelength and the Wider Electromagnetic Spectrum Lab. • Visit the Making Waves Interactive to reinforce the relationships and practice measuring wavelength and frequency. (Challenge each other to see who can get the most correct in a row. Please complete at least 5correct sets of measurementsbefore moving on.) • Watch BrainPOP videos on the topics of Color or Waves.
