  2. Rationalism • A western philosophical form of writing that was invented in Europe; the views regard logic, reasoning and rational points of view. Rationalism is also influenced by metaphysics, mathematics, and ethics to attempt to prove the writer’s intentions.

  3. Famous rationalist writers. • G.W.F Hagel (1770- 1831) • F.H. Bradley (1846-1924) • Josiah Royce (1855-1916) • Henry More (1664-87) • Isaac newton (1642-1727) • Sigmund Frued(1856-1931)
