The TsunamiTeacher Training Toolkit, launched by ITIC under the leadership of Dr. Laura Kong in August 2006, is an essential resource for enhancing tsunami preparedness. It consolidates existing and new materials into reliable, verified training modules aimed at various stakeholders, including educators, media, and the private sector. This toolkit enables stakeholders to share research and best practices, adapt training content locally, and develop effective community responses to save lives and mitigate tsunami impacts. Available in multiple languages, it promotes awareness and local adaptation of tsunami safety measures.
