The Church House Its Final Day, Nov. 15, 2011. The hungry machine begins its work. It takes the large jaws about an hour and a half to complete their work. One of the pianos that was not salvageable. Once the back end is down, the front porch goes. The crane operator has planned it well.

  2. The hungry machine begins its work.

  3. It takes the large jaws about an hour and a half to complete their work.

  4. One of the pianos that was not salvageable.

  5. Once the back end is down, the front porch goes.

  6. The crane operator has planned it well. The roof comes down exactly where it is supposed to.

  7. About ninety minutes later, the Church House is reduced to rubble.

  8. Pastoral Assistant Denise’s bulletin board message now seems prophetic.

  9. The Church House was a symbol of service to our church and community, even till its final days. And, as though to offer one last message of forgiveness, and hope for the future, it gave us this parting sign …
