  3. Nikon Cool Pix L11 • Features: • 6 cameras available on loan from the library • 6.0 Megapixels • Photo development quality • 512 MB SD memory card • Stores 300 photographs • USB connectivity • Students require the camera to download the photos. Allow time in lesson.

  5. Taking a Photo • Press to take photo • Set zoom. Will autofocus • Video mode available • Will record up to 52 minutes of low quality footage View on screen the image that will be recorded • Select mode or leave slide at left

  6. View and Deleting Photos • Use left and right to scroll through images • Use trash can button to delete currently displayed photo View on screen the image that has been recorded • Press Play button

  7. Downloading Photos • Turn on camera • Connect USB cable here, other end to PC

  8. Downloading Photos • Wait a few seconds for Windows XP to detect camera • Open My Computer and double click the L11 camera icon

  9. Downloading Photos • Cut and paste the photo file to where you want it. • Use cut as this will remove the photo from the camera’s memory

  10. Clearing the Memory Card • Press the Menu button • Use the keys around the OK button to scroll up, then select Set Up using the OK button The card needs to have photos from the previous borrower removed
